Pinotage Reserve 2006 (Absa Top 10)
A full bodied Pinotage with a deep red colour. A complex and good structured wine with red berry flavours, well balanced with spicy aromas from the new French Oak. A wine with an intense finish that could last in the bottle for at least 10 years or more. Ideal food matches for the wine would be spicy, game and red meat dishes.

| Climate | The summer once again had a long growth period to effect. Daily temperatures were above normal as well as more wind. As a result smaller and concentrated berries were harvested therefore the wine has intense colour and flavour. Good rainfall and cool weather during the winter season established good underground water table levels. In general a good season for reds. | |
