| Climate | Cool summer that had a long growing season to effect no stress conditions until mid February. Good rainfall during the winter established an adequate underground water table. A two week period of high temperatures in February causes rapid ripening towards the end of the season. A good year for Pinotage with intense berry and fruit flavours. | |
